An epic Ironman – the bike especially is awesome.

The start is on the emblematic Plage du Centenaire. The swim entails 2 loops, one of 2400m followed by a second one of 1400m, with an short land exit of about 20m at the end of the first loop.

The access to the transition area is up the ramp of the Plage de Centenaire. The exit of the park is located on the east side of the park, close to the Opera beach – transition is really long and thin – run!

Bike 180km - The bike race of 180km is 1 long loop starting at the Promenade des Anglais. You ride through some beautiful towns and villages of the picturesque hinterland of Nice wand cheered all the way by the cycle-loving public. The circuit takes you through St Laurent du Var, Gattieres, Carros, Le Broc, Bouyon, Gréolières. The total climbing altitude is about 1800m for a bike cutoff of 10:45 after the start of the race. 8 aid stations are prepared for you (personal aid station at mid race). Come back to the Promenade des Anglais to the Opera beach transition area in riding past the airport of Nice.

Run 42.2km
The run course consists of a 10,5km loop that has to be run four times which is absolutely flat along the Nice coastline. During the run you can enjoy the wonderful view from the Promenade des Anglais. Three aid stations will get you through the marathon, so you could stop to eat and drink 24 times! On a hot day there’s not much shade! When you get to the finish line, then milk it – you are an Ironman!
